12th International Symposium on Wetland Pollutant Dynamics and Control

Welcome to WETPOL 2027!
The 12th International Symposium on Wetland Pollutant Dynamics and Control will take place from 6-10 September 2027 in the heart of Luxembourg City, hosted by the unique and historic setting of Neumünster Abbey.
WETPOL2027 will bring together scientists, engineers, practitioners, policymakers and stakeholders from around the world to exchange knowledge and ideas on natural and constructed wetlands and nature-based solutions for sustainable water management.
Over the years, WETPOL has become an international meeting point for researchers working at the interface of wetland science, water quality, environmental engineering and ecosystem management. The 2027 edition will continue this tradition while exploring how wetlands and other nature-based solutions can respond to emerging challenges such as contaminants, climate change, water scarcity, urbanisation and the transition towards a circular water economy.
We warmly invite you to join us in Luxembourg for five days of inspiring scientific exchange, lively discussions and new collaborations, in a setting where science, nature, history and European culture meet.
We look forward to welcoming you to Luxembourg and to WETPOL 2027
